Niedermaier is a multi-faceted design driven company that creates and manufactures distinctive modern furniture, lighting and accessories. Our benchmade furniture is fabricated locally in our Chicago workroom by craftsmen who produce the highest quality and finest details. We strive to bring an exclusive perspective to every project we take on; from a sofa customized to your style and comfort to one-hundred light fixtures installed in five-star hotels globally.

Niedermaier embraces the inspiration of renowned artists and top designers, past and present. We have developed partnerships with a remarkable array of designers throughout the years. Among the most recognized are Vincente Wolf, Carlos Martinez, Powell Kleinschmidt, Thomas Schlesser, Mark Demsky, Peter Ambrose, Edmond Fernandez and Denis Collura assisting to expand our diverse line. It is with this strong foundation, and over 40 years of experience that we have excelled in the spheres of commercial, hospitality and residential design.

Our next venture is the highly anticipated debut of the Theo line of fabrics housed in our Chicago and New York showrooms. The collection includes lush Italian velvets, exquisite Belgian linens, discerning domestic and imported leathers, as well as incomparable outdoor fabrics and trim – All designed with the edited modern language Niedermaier has come to define. Our furniture will also be showcased in Theo showrooms in London, Dallas and Los Angeles this summer. Specifics to follow soon.
